Paula's
Hand-made Teddy Bears
I became inspired to make my own
collectables when I travelled to the NEC in
Birmingham for their spring trade fair.
I discovered The Cotswold Bear Company and
enquired about their one-day workshops. A
month later I embarked on a journey making
Teddy Bears, which I find very rewarding.

At a good price I was
taught the art of making my own bear through
to stitching a stubby nose & sewing in his
sparkling eyes.
'Poppy' has been carefully and
lovingly hand crafted in mohair.
She is filled with polyester filling
and pellets to her tummy and paws.
Her ears are filled with traditional
Kapok which have then been enhanced
further with lace.
She has an embroidered ultrasuede
foot paw in the shape of a
flower emphasised with a heart shape
button. She has beautiful black eyes
and a sweet brown nose sewn with
perle cotton. 'Poppy' carries a
special heart in her paw.
All products used conform to toy
safety regulations.
